Pauper Lives, Mobility and Exclusion in London Lives
An evolving project, centred on London Lives Pauper Examinations and associated records.
I presented some early thoughts on this at the Cultures of Exclusion conference in 2017 but since then this material has been on a backburner (largely because of work on petitions).
I have recently started some data cleaning and enhancement for the LLEP data. This includes work on enhancing locations data, beginning with the simpler task of geocoding locations in the linked removal orders, to facilitate mapping and spatial analysis.
I’d also like to do more work on relationships and status/occupations.
